OUR GOAL
Our goal is to bring together Asian (in particular ASEAN+3) community groups across Victoria to create a collaborative space for fostering cultural, social and resource exchange between Asian societies, local communities, institutions, and businesses in Victoria.
Our work is focused in two main areas: building capacity of Asian community groups in the region and creating greater integration of Asian Canadians within our broader community.
ABOUT THE COLLABORATIVE
Our founding members are the Bayanihan Cultural and Housing Society, the Victoria Chinatown Lioness Lions Club, the Victoria Filipino Canadian Association and the Victoria Nikkei Cultural Society. With funding from the Victoria Foundation, they have hired a project manager and three cultural liaison officers who collectively make up our Secretariat.
UPCOMING EVENTS
We are hosting a Summit for Asian community members on November 22nd, 2025 at the Gorge Park Pavilion.
We will be sharing in cultural performances and workshops, learning different organizational skills and discussing joint advocacy projects.
