The Victoria Chinatown Care Foundation (VCCF) exists to ensure the continuation of culturally sensitive long-term care and expand the continuum of healthcare and wellness in Victoria Chinatown.

We help fund programs, services, and projects that enhance the wellbeing of residents at the Care Centre and healthcare needs in the community.

Our Impact

Since 2010 over $970,000 has been given to the Victoria Chinatown Care Centre for major, necessary building repairs and upgrades.
This includes building capital improvements, such as roof repairs, a new HVAC system (for air conditioning), energy saving windows, energy efficient replacement lights, new front entrance system with key fobs for staff, new security system, and a range of wear-and-tear repairs.
This also includes equipment to ensure quality care and safety, such as new mattresses, new bath tub and lift, safety walker at bath time, kitchen replacement appliances to prepare Chinese food, and a range of office, IT, and communication equipment.
We continue to support ongoing needs to ensure the continuation of the Care Centre.

The Victoria Chinatown Care Foundation has been operating for over 25 years. We are all volunteers who believe in preserving culturally sensitive, appropriate, and responsive long-term and related healthcare/wellness at the Chinatown Care Centre, serving our community and it’s future.
